According to art. 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and on the basis of Swiss data protection legislation, every person has a right to protection of their private sphere and to protection against misuse of their personal data. Cmsbox adheres to these legal stipulations at all times and only processes personal data to the minimum extent necessary for business purposes.
No information is analyzed in a personal context, nor is personal data forwarded to third parties, unless you provide us with this data and information for such purposes.
What personal data is gathered and processed for what purpose?
When you fill out a contact form or order the Cmsbox newsletter, Cmsbox asks you for your name and email address. This is to ensure that the answer or newsletter can be delivered. Also, when you contact us via email, we may store a dataset pertaining to this correspondence. From time to time, Cmsbox may ask users to voluntarily take part in surveys and the like, which we use for anonymized internal statistics and for the improvement of our services. Statistical analysis of website usage occurs in an anonymized manner. No connection to personal data is made at any time. In particular, Cmsbox uses customer data for the purposes of identification and accounting, as well as for business processes. Cmsbox takes appropriate and up-to-date security measures in order to prevent loss, misuse or alteration of customer information and personal data.
As a user, what possibilities do you have for viewing and editing?
If you have requested delivery of the newsletter, you can unsubscribe from it at any time by clicking on the corresponding unsubscribe link in the newsletter. As provided by law, you also have a right of information, as well as a right to correction and deletion of personal data. You can assert your right in writing, addressed to Cmsbox GmbH, Terrassenweg 18, CH-3012 Bern, Switzerland. For clear identification, a copy of the identity card or passport is to be enclosed.
Data protection and email transmission
If you communicate with us via email (or forms), the data is transmitted without encryption. The same applies if we send you our answer via email. In such cases, there is no guarantee of confidentiality. Email – essentially fast, reliable and cheap – is forwarded via many different computers. Therefore, there are many ways in which messages can be stored, analyzed or altered. Non-encrypted emails are not a suitable means of sending confidential information to Cmsbox.
